School Uniform

School uniforms should be purchased directly from our supplier, Mapac.

Click here for the Mapac website

We also have excellent preloved uniform, coats, shoes and wellies available at reception at both offices. We encourage all of our families to donate these items so that we, as a community, can 'reuse, recycle and reduce'. You can also order second-hand uniform by visiting the LISFA or FOLJS Facebook pages.

Footwear

Students must wear sensible black school shoes. Platform shoes, high heels, trainers, open-toed shoes, and boots are not permitted.

Hairstyles

Students should maintain a neat and tidy appearance. Extreme hairstyles are not permitted, and long hair must be tied back neatly. Hair dye is not allowed.

PE Kit

On days children have PE in class, they come to school in their PE kit.  If it is raining or forecast to be raining, children will be encouraged to wear coats during PE and may bring a spare PE kit or uniform in a named bag.

The PE kit is the same for both schools

  • Red PE Polo top embroidered with school logo
  • Plain loose-fitting navy-blue shorts
  • Plain navy-blue jogging bottoms (no logos or stripes) may be worn in cold weather
  • Plain white socks
  • Trainers (with Velcro fastenings in the Infant School and optional Velcro fastenings in the Junior School)

If children are taking part in after-school sports clubs on a non-PE day, they should bring their named kit and suitable footwear into school in a separate named drawstring PE bag to change into at the end of the day. A non-uniform PE kit may be worn during clubs.

On swimming days, children should wear their school uniform and bring their swimming kit into school in a named swimming bag, which they will store in their cloakroom.  They will take this to the swimming pool and get changed there.

Other information

Valuables should not be brought to school – we cannot accept responsibility for them. Jewellery is not permitted except for small, studded earrings, which must be removed or taped for PE and games. (This is a Hampshire County Council ruling). Manual or digital watches, but not Smartwatches, may be worn but should be removed for PE.

Please provide an overall for Art/Cookery (an old shirt is fine). If Wellington boots are worn to school, please provide a pair of shoes for changing into, plus clothes peg for securing the boots.
