Sports Funding
At the Federation of Liphook Infant School and Liphook C. of E. Junior School, we recognise the contribution of PE to the health and well-being of the children. We believe that an innovative, varied PE curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities not only support physical fitness but also play a key role in promoting positive mental health. Regular exercise helps children manage stress, improve mood and build confidence, which in turn has a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement.
Our Primary School Sport’s Funding enables us to continue and extend this provision by:
- Employing additional sports professionals
- Entering more competitive sports competitions
- Training our staff to deliver high quality PE sessions.
Through these initiatives, we aim to ensure every child enjoys the benefits of being active both physically and mentally, while developing lifelong healthy habits.
